60. Carrie (1976)
Country: United Stated
Director: Brian De Palma

Another styllistic and great horror film from director De Palma. Should also rewatch this one, it's been a while ago, but i remember enjoying and liking it.

59. Darbareye Elly (2009)
Alternative Titles: About Elly
Country: Iran
Director: Asghar Farhadi

Second film from this director in this list. Farhadi is an excellent director for thrilling drama's and it's always interesting to see a moving picture from a country or culture you're less familiar with, though in this case, there's more things that are familiar or recogniseable to us than one would think from a film of Iran. About Elly also has a bit of a mystery vibe from what I recall. An excellent film.

58. Ex Drummer (2007)
Country: Belgium
Director: Koen Mortier

Probably my favourite Flemish & Belgian film, and also my favourite film in my native language, and probably also one of my favourite comedies. Ex Drummer is more of black comedy, satire and even leans into mocking the Flemish variant of white trailer trash people, losers or degenerates.  It's excellent and probably one of the most hilarious films i've seen. It also has some cool music.

This video describes the film very well (and it's in english).

57. Fight Club (1999)
Country: United States
Director: David Fincher

Also one i need to rewatch, but I think a lot of this film that has to be said already has been said at this point by a lot of people. It's a well liked film for many people, i don't have much to add here. I will only add that I don't really like it because of the plot twist but because of everything else, and the atmosphere etc. Just a very interesting and pleasant film to watch. Great acting performances too.
