I remember years ago, not long after I first joined, there was a "which poster is most opposite the previous poster?" thread, and someone said Mercenary for me. I had no idea who that was at the time, and I feel like I didn't see them on here for a long time after that. But now that they're back, I really think whoever guessed that hit the nail on the head, or as least I hope they did. Even beyond culture war stuff, I don't know if I've ever seen a Mercenary opinion that I've agreed with on any level from the most micro level to the most macro level.
