The first one was a US puppet, he was never chosen by the Iranians.

I hate that Iran so much that despite everything i probably would prefer the current one, even if i would hate modern Iran too. But old Iran is sh**t too. There was a reason everyone revolted against it, yes islamists too, but also modern liberals and communists who quickly defeated in the following power struggle after the Iranian revolution.

And I suppose the US preferred this government over the communist ones too because of the cold war background.

Iran is terrible it funds Hamas with weapons and we have been told it was all about Saddam Hussein, there aren't anymore suicide bombings but if it was all about Saddam funding suicide bombings, Iran whom funds Pakistan too Benezir Bhutto got killed by a suicide bomber when Bin Laden was alive, also Sirhan Sirhan whom killed Bobby Kennedy was part of Hamas and during that time we were feuding with Iran, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia are a network of terrorist but the largest terrorist network is Iran clearly, that's why the War on Terror continues even today we have to have full body scanners to prevent Hijacked airplane

My first real exposure to Persian-Americans was in college.  There were about half-a-dozen or so, virtually all of them Political Science or International Affairs majors.  And would become quite lively and impassioned in the classroom, especially when discussing anything related to Iran or the Middle East in general.

They hated the following ALL equally:

1) The Shah
2) The Ayatollahs
3) The US Republican Party (and "conservatives" in general)

There was absolutely no such thing as triangulation with these people.  (And did I mention their chicks are hot?)
