FF. It took me a while to figure out that much of what he says is sarcasm or humor. He plays a character much of the time (right-leaning or libertarian), while in reality, he identifies as a Democrat and clearly has a left-leaning orientation. His true identity has come through when there's been serious conversations about serious issues.

My views have been pretty consistent on economic issues like my disdain for government waste, welfare dependency/abuse, and opposition to single-payer healthcare (incl. Medicare to some extent) and Social Security. It's just that I also have a heart and don't want people to not have healthcare or at least a small pension in their later years, and I abhor the Randian views of the GOP.

On social issues, I have probably evolved from one of white victimhood and hiding behind my religion, to one where I recognize my own past and current intolerant views, and want to be more respectful of other people, while not taking myself too seriously.
