REpublican primary race in CA. Pompo is an anti-environment property rights REP. and McCloskey is a non interventionist and environmentalist REP. Is an excelent candidate but with the wrong party.

I have not seen any polling data for this race, but have a feeling that Pombo will win this one with a respectable (5-10%) margin of victory.

He placed third in a number of primaries (In 1972) behind Nixon and Ashbrook.
