This country has a 7,7 Freedom House rating. There is no form of democracy at all, no real opposition parties exist or are capable of being elected, almost all opposition leaders are either in jail or reeducation camps. All conservative religions are banned on the basis that they teach negative things about sex. Sex is the #1 theme of the regime. Porn is frequently shown on large monitors in front of busy streets to remind citizens to have sex that day. The country's #1 import is prostitutes, large brothels exist in every city to allow everyone to have sex whenever they want. In fact celibacy is illegal, people who declare themselves to be uninterested in sex are dragged to reeducation camps to attempt to turn them into nymphomaniacs. Homosexuality and bisexuality are accepted and celebrated, to declare them immoral is illegal, and anyone who does is also sent to a reeducation camp to be turned homosexual or bisexual themselves. In addition the economy is completely nationalized, including the large sex industry, all brothels, sex stores and strip clubs are government ran, although independent freelancer prostitutes are legal. At all government ran schools children are encouraged to report their parents if they teach any forbidden ideas, such as the immorality of homosexuality, conservative religion, or the idea that sex is only for marriage. Many television stations exist, however they are all either government propaganda outlets or porn channels, in addition in the libraries over half of books must be either porn or erotic literature by law, and there is a large list of banned books that discourage sex in any way. Condom dispensers that dispense condoms and other forms of birth control for free are everywhere, and you can easily get an abortion at any hospital. Women have complete equality, their equal pay is mandated by law, the Parliament is 50% female, and women are equally represented in the secret police and prison/reeducation camp staff.

I'll go with option 3, while this place would be quite a horrid regime, it is still light years ahead of Iran by my standards and I wouldn't be targeted by the regime.

You know, this would be a good setting for a dystopian novel...

I picked #4, because while there are some good aspects of this "sexocracy" the lack of democracy makes it a horrible place. Marginally better than Iran, of course.

I voted Option 4, although it's pretty close.

This country probably couldn't exist, at least not for a long period of time.

Fifth option. At least it seems that in Iran, you can get away with being a Christian.

Well...I like sex, I'm not religious, I'm not a homophobe, I don't read or watch TV that often, and I have no problem with women. So I'll take Liberalhell over Iran.

Iran would be better though both are horrible.

At least in Iran I could vote every once and a while. It's not free and fair by any means but at least its not as insane or as dictatorial.

I'd like to know a way this hipothetical country and culture could form.

Let's say there was a sort-of-theocratic government elected about 20-30 years ago in a narrow victory over the hardline secularist socialist opposition. In response a bunch of generals supporting the opposition staged a coup and installed a very anti-clerical military regime, eventually the junta was taken over by a rather depraved sex maniac leader who established this totalitarian regime.
