What is your opinion of the law and order upstart New York freshman Republican Assemblyman who wants to jump to Congress in 2020?

"Law & order" candidates tend to be HP's considering it's inherently a dog-whistle.

With all the riots and protests going on because of a lack of police accountability, he may be the poster child of politicians covering up for cop enclaves like Long Island.

I'd rather a Democrat in that seat, but I'd prefer his populism to the generic GOPer. He's for expanding apprenticeships, has fought to expand medical screening coverage, and stood up to protect the environment.

True. He represents the blue collar conservatives that vote GOP for cultural issues, but are leftwing on economic issues.

FF. The GOP needs more federal politicians with a more proactive (though still conservative in outlook) economic agenda and concern for the Environment.

If Gordon wins in NY-02, he could beat her in 2022

He is economically populist, but very Blue Lives Matter
