Likely D. Minnesota will not be breaking its 48-year Democratic voting streak for Trump this year, especially not with the present crisis. Biden should outperform Clinton in the Twin Cities metropolitan area, and that alone will hand him the state, even if Trump improves in the rural areas.

Likely BIden. Say what you want, but my hot take is that it will stay Democrat. Parts of the state that are trending R, are losing population at fast rate (see Iron Range), and Twin Cities are growing. I predict that by 2032 MN would stay Tilt D or at worst, Tossup. By 2040 it would be probably again safely in D column

Like I said in the Gravis poll - the state already seemed Lean/Likely D for Biden, but after Trump's handling of George Floyd and everything since, I think his support has cratered even more in MN

Do you mean the Twin Cities?  Never heard them referred to as Double Cities before.

No worries, just wondered if they had a nickname I wasn't familiar with.

Biden will lose the Minneapolis-St. Paul suburbs

It's anyone's guess right now
