Trumpvirus is currently at about a 41% approval rating.  He has dipped into the upper 30s before so he certainly could slip to that level again.

Trump's approvals were considerably lower throughout 2017, so no.

He can certainly go lower. Back in 2017 he was down to 37 percent approval rating and i certainly believe it's possible for him to go that low again though my gut says it's more likely that he'll go down to 40 or 39% and then get a small rebound as we get closer to election day.

Nah, we are hovering around trump's floor. His base won't be abandoning him anytime soon.

I think this is his low point.  I expect him to start polling higher soon.

It could get lower, but I voted yes because I expect it won't. The concentration of disasters should get lower by November and I'd expect that to be reflected in presidential polling for the incumbent, but 2020 is a harsh mistress.

Wait until economic reality really sets in. Then we'll talk low points.

Low point as in for his position for re-election? Or low point as in how much he has degraded the country?

If you meant he former-it's possible, and if you mean the latter there is very clearly no low point for him.
The former.

Maybe, but I doubt it.

It's not that difficult to imagine a future where the current protests die down from a mix of summer heat, concern about COVID-19, and steps toward change. Meanwhile, COVID-19 doesn't go away, but fades into the background as a tragic statistic, like foreigners killed by the American military or highway deaths. Freed of the need to pretend to be President, the coward Donald Trump reverts to form and goes back to his favorite starring role as That Jerk In The White House. Nothing else major happens. Less prominent failure and a real (if over-hyped) economic recovery bring his numbers up to within range of Biden, and the election is a close one.

But I don't think that's likely. Occupy's prominent arc lasted five months, and I find it unlikely the current protests will end quicker. And the Trump maladministration seems unlikely to be able to successfully organize a widespread crackdown the same way Obama's did. Likewise, I doubt COVID-19 is going away before the election. Combined, these will keep the coward Donald Trump's utter incompetence and active maliciousness in public view the whole time.  And that's presuming that nothing else comes up where he can publicly humiliate himself, such a war or major natural disaster. (He's holding his re-nomination party on the coast of Florida at the height of hurricane season. The odds are against a hurricane hitting Jacksonville in particular, but still, that seems to be daring fate a little more than sanity would dictate. Not that he's sane.)

The coward Donald Trump seems to be becoming more unhinged as his government and re-election chances fall apart. Maybe he isn't personally getting worse, but the holes in the curtain are getting bigger. Or maybe there is a progressive condition. But either way, I find the idea of some sort of personal or government-wide transformation into something positive to be extremely unlikely. He's not climbing out of his current hole - his best hope is that it will erode around him enough that he can see daylight. but I doubt it will happen. I think that rather than a low, we're seeing a new normal for him.

Trump has been in moral descent since he went down that escalator in 2015.

So no. It will get lower.

Dems can crack 70 M, but 75 or 80 M, no way they get that, and Trump gets the same amount of votes or more that he gotten in 2016

Unfortunately,  some people will use coronavirus as an excuse not to vote, mostly Dems, saying they never got their mail ballot
