Quite possibly.
Either he's got incredible luck, or the best oppo research team in the business.

Fun fact: Mark Herring defeated Justin Fairfax in the Attorney General Democratic Primary in 2013.

If he is, the the Democrats should put him in charge of oppo research for the 2020 campaign. I bet he’d find the pee tape in an hour.

Presuming both Northam and Fairfax resign, doesn't it depend on the order of resignation? Say Fairfax resigns. Northam could appoint a Lieutenant Governor and then resign, and the Lieutenant Governor would become Governor. Or if Northam resigns, Fairfax becomes Governor, appoints a Lieutenant Governor, and then resigns, and that person becomes Governor. From a quick reading of the VA constitution, the Governor has sole power to fill a vacancy in the Lieutenant Governor's seat by appointment with no legislative confirmation necessary.

There's also the possibility that this is all being orchestrated by some extremely low-level figure who happens to be 18th in line for the governorship, and Northam and Fairfax were only his first two of 17 targets.

In other words, Herring may be next.

Nope. Either Northam sticking it out with his stubborn attitude or Fairfax.

An oppo research team so good they convinced Dems to restart the Cold War because Podesta imputed his password into a phishing scam.

A phishing scam so badly managed, mind you, that the source of it apparently couldn't be bothered to disguise where it was coming from with the most basic of VPNs Wink

VA House Speaker Kirk Cox (R) is the greatest politician of all time confirmed.
