Starting Sept. 1st, pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin flavored donuts, etc. become widely available.

Some argue we should wait till at least Sept. 22, the autumnal equinox (vernal equinox in Southern Hemisphere) or October, Halloween month. Others don't like the idea at all.

What do you think? I vote FF/FT. I just had a pumpkin doughnut today.

I love autumn. It is the absolute best season and pumpkin spice's association with it makes it a positive thing to me. It's a true harbinger of the best time of year. However, I hate coffee. So to add this saccharine, syrupy, overly sweet flavoring to it makes me dislike it even more in that regard. So I guess it cancels out, and I'm somewhat neutral.
The fact that people hate it so much and complain about it just as a concept kind of mystifies me though. Either drink it or don't.

I love the Fall, but don't like the lattes and certainly would like one less in 90 degree heat.

Pumpkin spice is one of those things (eggnog is another) where I enjoy it the first time or two, and then I'm done for the year.
