Choose ones you like and you think would do well in the general election.

Edwards/Feingold and Feingold/Edwards

Edwards is southern, white, protestant, male, handsome, young, and charismatic--all the best qualities in a politician.  I suppose he's quite a bit more liberal than the rest of the country, but I think that he will be able to overcome that.
Feingold is very charismatic and an individual--he has proven time and again that he doesn't really care what others say; he does what he thinks is right.  Much more liberal than the rest of the country, but I think that his ability to emulate real person in the stead of politician paired with his charisma can really help him out in the general election.  Would also help out with the Jewish vote, I do believe.

Feingold/Warner is the best ticket there.  The problem is, the Democrats lack a sure-fire good candidate for 2008.  Everyone has a drawback, or multiple drawbacks.  Al Gore might be the best option if he can successfully reinvent himself a third time.

Warner/Clark would make a good ticket.  Clark could make up for Warner's lack of national security and foreign policy creditials.

That ticket as a whole has *one* electoral victory under their belt(s).

1. Where's Bayh?
2. I don't think Gore is eligible to serve as VP anymore.
3. Absent Bayh, I vote Edwards. Feingold makes a nice vp pick.

I wonder about Bayh too. Feingold paired with either Clark or Gore sounds good.

I don't think there are term limits on Vice Presidents.

Yes, he could be Vice President for another 40 years.

I don't care for any of them but Warner. If I was given the choice, Kerry/Warner.

As a non-Democrat:

In terms of ease of having the sh**t kicked out of them by the Republicans or maybe Libertarians? Gore/Edwards or Edwards/Gore.

In terms of relative palatablility? Warner/Feingold.

out of those Warner and Edwards seem the least horrible, although I haven't heard much about them and that's why.
