Given that there are people who hate Trump (and most presidents) to the point of plotting assassination, how likely is it that Trump will be assassinated?

I have a feeling that, if it does happen, the assassin will be a hard-right fundamentalist.

Probably close to zero. The type of person with the long-term planning skills required to be able to successfully pull off something like that is very unlikely to also be the type of person willing to try.

Low, no one on the left wants Trump a martyr, no one in the centre wants chaos, and no one on the right can stop c^&ming themselves over him.

Anyone in neither of these categories probably couldn't put the two and two together to figure out how to ice him.

Very, very low. Maybe a ~.5% chance. I don't think there will be any successful Presidential assassination attempts in the near future due to increased technology and the secret service.

How has this topic not been noticed by the Secret Service yet?

Anyways, 5%.

Killing a World Leader, any World Leader, is a major goal for a terrorist organization...so they would try with Trump.

Also, if Trump really ticks off Putin or betrays him deep enough, there's a possibility Putin just orders the FSB to ice him.

Well, out of 45 US presidents, 4 have been assassinated.

So I guess historically the odds are in the high single digits.

Security has gotten better over the years so it's probably lower.

I'd say there's roughly an 8-10% chance that Trump dies during his term, with half being natural causes and the other half assassination

Quite low. I imagine if it happens it'll probably be an Islamic extremist. I guess there aren't many of them in the US, but I can't imagine any other group trying. I can't see someone from Antifa or any other leftist lone wolf successfully planning a presidential assassination and I don't know why any hard-right extremist would try so hard to kill Trump.
