The other interesting thing here is that no one seems to complain about Mondale's trolling which – while not quite as bad – is certainly in the same ballpark as Krazen's.  Of course, it's pretty obvious why folks are fine with Mondale's schtick and not Krazen's (many in the forum community give liberal/pro-Democratic trolls a free pass while shouting to the rooftops about conservative ones).

Mondale doesn't seem to get an erection over the suffering of others, like krazen does whenever something bad happens to teachers, union members or minorities. He also doesn't hold Vladimir Putin in high regard.

Both Mondale and krazen are very self-aware of their trolling. If someone sounds so ridiculous when posting, they are almost certainly trolling!

However, Mondale posts more than krazen does, and does not seem to meticulously prepare a post bomb to drop in a thread. There is clearly a sense of humor underneath everything in Mondale; he doesn't post to derail a thread with some absurdly hackish statement. Meanwhile, krazen is more interested in riling up people unaware of his intentions.

Just assume everyone is a troll, and then you have no problem surfin' the web!

I dislike them both. But then again I'm now considered worse than Hitler.

You think Krazen meticulously prepares his posts?  I always got the sense they were written in about 10-15 seconds or so.

1. krazen uses punctuation.
2. I guess I am thinking of some of his more... er... memorable posts, such as his comments about Sotamayor. His "Dominating" posts are all he seems to get away with these days, as his more "interesting" posts tend to be a bit too vile for what seems to be considered "acceptable" trolling. I am sure it does not take long to type "Moore in the lead!".
