Ok, here are the options:
But wait, there's more!: a TL I already started with Ninja0428. Billy Mays survives his heart attack and goes into politics. Can he be the one for the Republicans in 2016?

Chronicles of a Socialist America (1st storyline): a second assassination attempt is made against Reagan. Reagan is extremely badly hurt, but refuses to step down. The government can't do much, and a stock market crash causes radicals to rise up in cities across America. This would mostly be in the present, with a certain somebody attempting to bring democracy back to America.

Chronicles of a Socialist America (2nd storyline): trump wins in 2020 with even less of the PV. A stock market crash in 2022 coupled with increased unpopularity for trump leads to a revolution of extreme magnitude. This would mostly follow along the actual revolution and not what occurred after it.

Note: socialist here is being used in the way the soviets used socialist in their name.
