"Majority rule" does not equal Democracy. There's more to Democracy than that, ie safeguards for minorities.

(And supporting the fascist coup in Algeria was one of the worst things the west has ever done, by the way.)

I meant oppose violently ; ie willing to engage in a coup d'etat. Sorry if I didn't clarify.
