Yes, as part of a deal in which Franken is also expelled.

I suspect Roy Moore will argue that even if the charges are true, he can't be expelled from the U.S Senate because they occurred before he was elected to the U.S Senate and the whole process will bog down.
[/quote]

I believe it will depend on the veracity of the notations in the yearbook.

Moore has denied it entirely and denied knowing Nelson.  If the entire notation is not his.  He survives.  If it is entirely his, he is dead meat.   If is part his and part not his, I am not positive what happens.  But, I think he tossed

He will be placed under oath.  If he lies about the notations in the yearbook, that will be grounds to expel.  If he admits the notations in the yearbook are fully or partially true, he can be expelled for lying to the people of Alabama.

Of course he won't be expelled. The GOP no longer has a bottom.

Neither do the Democrats. The nation is basically divided

The reasons are for another thread.

Have really not seen such a division since the Civil War.

I agree there is too much partisanship, you're post here being a fine example. When the Democrats nominate a narcissistic deranged psychopath to be President as the Republicans did in 2016 and then lied to themselves that 'he's no worse than Hillary Clinton' get back to me.

You sanctimony is noted.  Yes Hillary was worse.  She assisted running an influenced pedaling operation.. She destroyed 33,000 e-mails, which you must truly know did not contain cookie recipes and wedding plans. Those types of e-mails. Would have been to prove there was no problem.  She and Obama messed the Mid-east and North Africa., She lied about Benghazi.  She treated Monica terribly.

Please again why I am happy with Trump:

How rich for a criminal such as Trump, to say Doug Jones is weak on crime. I guess prosecuting Ku Klux Klan members who killed black children does not count because of who the victims are. This man is a literal piece of sh**t.

You think Trump cares who tf Doug Jones is? Someone just told him he was a Democrat and he brought out the usual "wants higher taxes", "weak on crime" stuff he always resorts to when it comes to Democrats.
I know he doesn't. I'm just reiterating what a shallow, ignorant doofus he is. Smiley

Ah I see. Very sorry if I sounded controversial.

You think he would just read a damn Wikipedia page or something. I mean, he's not doing anything else Smiley

Oh, but he is appointing great folks to the courts.

He is cutting regulations that been strangling the economy.

Below is a statement why I am glad Hillary is not in the White House.  Some doofus! NOT!!!

No, the GOP hasn't the backbone to do it. At least not enough to reach a two-thirds majority.

Would be funny (from a certain perspective) if the GOP wanted to expel Moore, and the Democrats decided not to play ball because he was making Mitch's life so uncomfortable.

Really some of you who post here call names, when you do not have an argument.  So sad.  It would be nice, if you would grow up.  I know there are folks on the right, who are just like you.

If Putin did support Trump through collusion, he made a very bad deal

Please list the ways that Trump has aided Putin's actual policies.  Calling Putin nice names is not supporting a policy.  I guess someone needs to open a thread on that.

All right, so it's name calling, but seriously what you wrote here sounds a lot better when read in a Russian accent.

2017: Shelby votes for a write-in.

2022: Shelby, 88 years old and running for his final term, introduces a special guest at one of his rallies: “My very good friend, Senator Roy Moore.”

You just know this’ll happen.
