In a related news: Ridley Scott's newest film All the Money in the World will be released in December. In this film, Spacey portrays J. Paul Getty. So far, the movie's release hasn't been cancelled, but they did suspend their campaign to lobby for a Academy Award nomination for Spacey.

Ridley Scott has decided to cut all scenes with Kevin Spacey from his new film All the Money in the World and reshoot them using actor Christopher Plummer.

I think that's an overreaction. Would they like to cut him out of all films now? Not that I approve any assaults, but we should abide by a simple American rule: Innocent until proven guilty.

It's probably more a business decision than anything else. Releasing a movie with Kevin Spacey in a prominent role now would be an absolute marketing nightmare.

Still this new actor is quite older than Spacey. Odd decision, although I imagine they didn't have many choices with this sort of time frame.

Mostly I'm disappointed in House of Cards actually. Sessions 6 will be without him (although he would be a former president then). I wonder how they will make him "disappear". I suppose he either goes to jail or dies (possibly as consquence of the liver transplantation).

Are they actually doing the entire season without him?  At this point it would make sense to either leave the show the way the last season ended or wrap everything up with one more (special) episode, but an entire House of Cards season without Spacey just isn't House of Cards.
