Spent her entire life trying to help people, and the country spit in her face because of what was between her legs, but it's just something you live with, like mass shooting. 'Murica.

If it was the same background & actions but the person was a man - the person would still be morally reprehensible in my view and in that of many others.

She is deluded - her latest book is another example of that.

Even resolute Dems like Donna Brazile are showing how corrupt things got with her assumed coronation. The presumptions of her support and her embarassingly bad campaign. Her refusal to reflect on mistakes as Sec of State and in the campaign came back to haunt her. She could have seen as a good case study to gain some good will among the center who mildly supported her as anti-Trump vote but instead she blamed outside factors including misogyny. Such a flawed candidate.

She's was one point a massive FF, and I do respect her for many years of public service. However, with the tactics she used a SOS and Candidate, her current form is hard to judge.

Whatever the reason(s) for Hillary Clinton's loss, her sex doesn't appear to be one of them.

I guess I'm a moderate hero when it comes to Hillary - the right has concocted this image of a Bond villain who murders her politics opponents, which is far from the truth, and her wing has created this picture of this saint who could never do no wrong, which is just as far from the truth. She's done some good things with her career, CHIP probably being at the top, but largely she's been a failed politician, whatever her intentions are.

She probably was a better candidate then Obama in 2008 and pre-2008 she did hold some quantitative good quality's. However since then my opinion of her has dropped for many reasons and looking back at 2016 shows that she is nothing more then a horrible to mild HP. If not her, her supporters have grown more and more insufferable and her wing of the party and has grown more and more detached from the Public. Ultimately i believe she has done more bad then good for the Party and doesn't matter if she was female or not (as Bill Clinton has as well). I do take most agreement with the quoted text below:

The leader we needed, but not the one we deserved.

I agree with these bolded points. She was a better candidate than Obama in 2008 which is why I supported her that year (I was 15 at the time if it makes a difference). She was more experienced, she was to his left on healthcare and most if not all of the economic issues of the day and I think hindsight shows that she'd be not much different than Obama on foreign policy, she was Secretary of State after all, and Obama proved he was no dove.  She also, unlike Obama, understood how bat sh**t crazy and hostile the Republican opposition was, from her days as First Lady. Since 2008, and especially after she became Secretary of State, she seemed like she was changing to please his coalition and his advisors, when in reality, she never had to (the rank and file of the party would've been solidly behind her regardless), and she made matters worse by giving all of those paid speeches in the two years prior to her 2016 presidential run. All of this and other reasons is why my support in 2016 went to Bernie. Granted, I still view her as an FF for her career as a whole, but not as much as I did in 2008.

Also, agreed 100% on her 2016 supporters and if this holding their hands over their ears and saying "WE DID NOTHING WRONG, RUSSIA, COMEY, RUSSIA COMEY!!" and saying that "we need to cut our loses in the rust belt and target affluent, moderate suburbanites in the Sun Belt" doesn't stop, we're going to lose next year and in 2020. We don't need to change into full on Democratic Socialists to win, but we need to make changes to win back our traditionally Democratic Friends in the Rust Belt, keep Bernie's coalition (the sane ones like myself, not the Bernie Bros) in the tent, and at the same time increase minority turn out.
