Why didn't the Colorado GOP conduct a presidential straw poll during their caucus? That decision made that caucus very uninteresting, not only for political pundits but also for the candidates themselves.
Who do you think would have won it?

While they've been doing the caucus + straw poll for years, the straw poll has always been meaningless for delegate allocation.  This time, the RNC said that any election day vote (like a straw poll) at caucuses had to be binding on delegate allocation, and the Colorado GOP didn't want to do that, so they scrapped the straw poll.
