Interesting note, even if its not too relevant:  Ruth Bader Ginsburg was confirmed by a 96-3 vote; Steven Breyer was confirmed 87-9.  Even Alito's apparent guiding spirit, Antonin Scalia, was confirmed 98-0.

And Alito was confirmed unanimously to the circuit court. Somehow I doubt he will get 90+ votes like Ginsburg or Scalia did. More like 65 - 70.

Nelson will vote yes.
