Since I seem to be somewhat stuck on the fact that: Modern Dems actually Elected President have been younger that 52.5 years old...
Kennedy... 43
Clinton..... 46
Obama..... 47
Carter...... 52.5

...So for the poll, I pulled together all of the.... 1)Senators.... 2) Governors...... 3) Cabinet Members ... & 4)Top 10 Largest US City Mayors... that will be under 52.5 on 2020 election day...  I actually thought there would be more big names in this age bracket.  (The Ages below are how old they will be on election day)... The ones in Bold are the only real options.

Secretary Julian Castro....47
(& prior Mayor of San Antonio #7)
Senator Chris Murphy.....47
Senator Brian Schatz.....47
Senator Martin Heinrich... 48
Governor Gina Raimondo.. 49
Mayor Eric Garcetti..... 49      (Mayor of LA #2)
Mayor Greg Stanton....50    (Mayor of Phoenix #6)
Mayor Ivy Taylor...... 50     (Mayor of San Antonio #7)
Mayor Sam Liccardo... 50     (Mayor of San Jose #10)
Senator Cory Booker..... 51

**I noticed: Bill Clinton, Eric Garcetti & Cory Booker (& Pete Buttigieg) are all Rhodes Scholars... That's an abnormally large number of Rhodes Scholars active in National Party Politics at the same time.

Booker is the only one who belongs anywhere near the presidency among these.

Booker or Murphy. The rest aren't on the same league as those two in terms of campaigning ability.

Edit: saw Schatz, I haven't seen him speak but he could be an electrifying speaker. Definitely not Heinrich though, dude has the charisma of a light bulb.

Just as a follow-up regarding ages... at the time of the 2020 election (which honestly, I think falls behind likable & charming/charismatic ..among the non-policy qualities)

Kristen Gillibrand.... 54
John Bell Edwards...54
Steve Bullock.......54
Catherine C Masto...56
Kamala Harris...... 56

Bill De Blasio......59
Amy Klobuchar.. 60
Tim Kaine....... 62
Andrew Cuomo.. 63
Roy Cooper....... 64

Sherrod Brown.... 68
Al Franken.......  69
J Hickenlooper.... 68
Elizabeth Warren...71

Donald Trump... 74
(**Currently 70 years old... Trump is the oldest President ever elected)

Joe Biden......... 78
Bernie Sanders... 79

As a Trump voter- who would you most fear in the General (of any candidate regardless of age)?

Somebody who

A. can unite the Bernie and moderate wings of the Party

And

b. is just as, if not more, charismatic than Trump

Because it'll be difficult to find somebody who can check both of those boxes I think Trump will win reelection.

My God, this is bleak. Truly a lost generation.

Joe Kennedy may be a wildcard in the future? He went to Stanford & Harvard Law, Served in the Peace Corps, He's currently a 3rd term Congressman & He will be 40 in 2020.

On a side note- I never knew he had a twin brother... Matt (who is a Director at the US Department of Commerce).   Like Julian & Joaquin Castro... Joe & Matt Kennedy both also went to Stanford Undergrad..Harvard Grad Together.

Of these, Heinrich. Murphy is still too young. Heinrich has shown himself to be a strong candidate.
