A powerful secret police could make it 50 states and DC.

First candidate ever to reach 98% of the popular vote!

Virginia can be flipped, but I dont see how Washington and Oregon can be flipped in normal circumstances

Agreed with some of the others -- trade Washington and Oregon for Virginia and it becomes much more plausible.

he's more likely to pull off this map if he doesn't fulfill his promises.

Yes, but as you just pointed out it would literally require the Republican New Deal.  The libertarian wing of congressional R's would flip out before he gets halfway through that list.

But the suburban wing of the GOP will have a rebirth.  The Southern wing of the GOP will be all for this jobs program that will allow its base to miss the fact that Davis-Bacon will be repealed.  (And that's one of my predictions; that Davis-Bacon repeal will be a condition of a massive job program of Rooseveltian scope.)

The "libertarian wing" was put in its place during this election cycle.  As were the "small government" conservatives.  As were the New Federalists.  There is a whole swath of big-government conservative Trump voters that have been roaring for a while now.  Trump has remade the GOP by awaking their own sleeping giants.  And make no mistake; the GOP would not have won if that hadn't happened.

The "blue firewall" is now burnt toast.

We haven't been put in our place yet. We small government/libertarian/New Federalist types have a few things up our sleeves just yet.
