None of these in our lifetime, at even odds. Although I wouldn't put much money on it, with Kosovo in there.

Quebec will never be fully independent. They will have some sort of partnership with the rest of Canada. I said Kosovo and Kurdistan, but Chechnya is also a possibility.

Flanders: No
Kosovo: Perhaps
Chechnya: No
Kurdistan: Not likely

True. It's economy wouldn't be able to survive without the various perks and subsidies* it gets from being part of Canada.
The whole aluminum thing would collapse for one thing

Out of all of those only Kosovo has any real chance of gaining independence. All the others would take near extrordinary circumstances for them to become independent.

You forgot Palestina which I consider the most likely be the next new independent nation.

I think the time of birth of nations is over. Current international system doesn't favour new nations. Kosovo has fairly reasonable chances though.

Tibet should be on the list too.

Kosovo: decent chance
Chechnya: outside chance
rest: basically none

I would say there's a dcent chance of Chechnya getting de facto independence, lke Trandsneister or Northern Cyprus
