By upstate, I mean the area of New York outside New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, and Dutchess counties.

How did Romney do in this area?  Tie or slight loss?

Trump should be able to get 40-45% in the Upstate NY area.  Maybe Staten Island will embarrass itself beyond repair once and for all and vote Trump.  He did get 81% on Staten Island in the Primary.

Like middle Pennsylvania, this may be an area where Trump may perform similarly or a little better than Romney (except in the obvious areas: Syracuse, Ithaca, Alabany, etc.). Voted 40-45%.

45-50% depending on whether or not third party support crashes.

I'm guessing about 45%. This is a part of the country where I could definitely see Trump improving on Romney's numbers. I doubt that'll be the case for New York City (other than Staten Island.)
