Not sure if there's even much data on this. Does anyone even have data on how trans* people specifically voted in 2012?

I think about 20%ish seems about right.

Very poorly, though I guess there will still be some holdouts among us that'll vote R. I mean Trump'll do much better than Cruz would have but that's not saying much.

1% of the population is likely less than 50 people in an exit poll. Just by anectodal evidence I would say they would be >80%, perhaps over >90% D, as many of them are SJWs.

.2 to .3% of the population. I don't think you're going to get a measurable subsample in any poll, exit or otherwise. Assuming the sample is 1,000, you'd theoretically have 2-3 people in a sample. Very difficult to get a measurable result.

Tremendously, tremendously well, that I can tell you, OK?  We are doing great with trans people, we are doing well with LGBT people - they love me, I have so many trans supporters.

Did you see what Caitlyn Jenner said?  Caitlyn, of course, is a friend of mine, and actually she stayed with me at Trump Tower.  We WILL win with trans supporters, because they know that I can make them safe - that thing that happened in Orlando was a terrible, terrible tragedy, and, quite frankly, Hillary Clinton will do a horrible job with ISIS, folks.

You are.  Turn on the TV (no pun intended).  There is a lot happening out there and it isn't all about you.

Did I say that? No. Wanting the smallest shred of acknowledgment does not equal egotism.

Pun? Wait... you're one of those people who associates transsexuality with transvestism, then? You'd think people would be more informed than that in this day and age...

Best guess: something like 2%. The Republican Party is scaring us off with bathroom bills and anti-trans rhetoric.

I don't think there's any historical data on how trans people have voted in the past, but I would assume that the vast majority of us are Democrats or left-leaning independents.

Should do quite well given how the Democrats have come out against trans-fats.

A snap poll of my trans friends shows Trump at 0% trailing Clinton with 100%.

Yes, but Donald's stance against the Trans Pacific Partnership might hurt him. Transpeople should have the right to form civil unions with large oceans!

In previous election exit polls, they've only measured the LGB vote.  In other words, sexual orientation, but not gender identity.  These polls IIRC showed us voting 21% Romney and 76% Obama last time around.  I would estimate somewhere in the teens for trans people, as they tend to face even more discrimination than LGB people, and Trump does poorly with minorities in general.  Having said that, there are occasional trans people that support Trump.  I personally know of one trans person that seems to favor him.  Also Caitlyn Jenner.  But they are certainly not the majority.

Other than Caitlyn Jenner, I don't know of any trans person supporting Trump...  Granted, not a small sample size, but still...

Yes, but Trump wants more transportation funding than most other Republicans. We should fund more trans ports.

I suspect that republicans do worse with trans-men and trans-women specifically, because of the amount of money it costs to transition(about 50k-70k). Most republican trans* people are probably rich enough to pay for transition out of pocket easily.
