Where you would like to live. Pick the color of the state or states where you'd like to live if you could.

I picked states that are warm, which may explain the map.
Dark blue are my favorites, Light blue third and grey last.

There are other factors, but I hate cold so that's my priority.

There are places I'd live in in all 4 but medium blue is least appealing to me.

I realized that I should have also provided a none of the above since not everyone here lives in the US and might not want to.

For those of you who wouldn't want to live in the US, where would you like to live?

Grey (because f*(k sunburns, tans, and deserts), specifically for North Carolina or Pennsylvania.

Light blue is decent, too warm, but besides the Miss, the rest seems okay...at least the accents are charming.

The Dark Blue is hit-and-miss [California, Georgia and Oregon in the same lump as Florida, New Mexico, and Hawaii? Why?]

The Medium blue has too much desert

I'd pick light blue if it weren't for AL/MS, as while those states are alright politically, I'd never consider living there. I'll go with grey.

What criteria did you use when developing these groupings? They seem pretty unusual.

I think it's just his 6 favorite, followed by the next 6 then the next 6.

That'd be pretty stupid.

That's what I did but I prefer the term "quirky" to "stupid", I knew that it would be seen as weird, but I decided to do it anyway.

Dark blue.

The states I want to live in most:

California
New Mexico
Kansas
Georgia

and since dark blue had both California and New Mexico, definitely that.

Medium blue, although grey and dark blue are both rather good selections as well. Any of them but light blue would work very well for me.

I'd pick the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West states colored there but they are divided between the difference shades. Thus not one of these are favoruable as:

Grey (because f*(k sunburns, tans, and deserts), specifically for North Carolina or Pennsylvania.

Light blue is decent, too warm, but besides the Miss, the rest seems okay...at least the accents are charming.
