It's well known that if you wear a Che Guevara t-shirt in Miami you will get the sh*t kicked out of you.  Hatred for Fidel Castro is very real and very fierce among the Cuban-American community, just listen to how worked up little marco gets about it.
But, all those folks were probably going to vote for Clinton anyway, right?

Some people might be motivated to turn out.

The most fervent anti-Castro voters are probably registered as Republicans.
But even among Democratic Cuban-Americans I doubt that he is very popular.

What he said was that Cuba has a better health care system than parts of the US ... which is true.

It could hurt him of course, because some people don't like the truth.

You can't pick and choose the good parts from a dictatorship.

Maybe, but Cuba's healthcare system could also be a mess, killing even more people.

That's not the case, so it is something to acknowledge - considering it's certainly a positive point in the dictatorship, and more so even if Cuba moves away from their system in the future, but keeps their solid healthcare system in place.
