IIRC, he was strong anti-McCain and anti-Bush in 2008, going from tepid support of Clinton to fanboy support of Obama. When he resurfaced, he was a diehard Romney fanatic, and blamed Christie for his loss.

He'll probably emerge as a Hillary hack or support the strongest anti-Christie candidate in the Rep field. If Clinton doesn't run, he'll be a Cuomo hack.
