Depends on the state.

I probably want the criminal from Florida to lose more than I want Corbett to lose. On the other hand, I don't particularly care who wins in Nebraska or New York.

It really depends. I have to say 5, I guess. Look, excepting a small handful of states, when someone runs a far right anti-science back to basics kind of platform and does well statewide, I admit I worry a little.

3; it depends on which Governor. I am more interested in Scott Walker than I am in LePage due to Walker's national presence.

Solid 8. Depends on the state. I care a lot about Maine and New Jersey, so the fact that they both have horrible governors depresses me.

10.
Not 10 in every state, but 10 in the most important states such as Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia and Kansas.

In states where the governor plays a role in redistricting: 10

In all the other states: 2.

Basically what Lief said, except I obviously care a lot about NC.

If they're adequate, no. If they're ruining their state (looking at you, Deal, Corbett, and Brownback) then yes.

A good 8, because Governors usually have a good springboard to the Presidential nomination, so it's kind of important in that respect.

But like the others said, for other reasons it really depends on the state. I care more about Midwestern because of proximity, and swing-state governors for looking at the state's trend in the future and possible Presidential aspirations.
