I can't see Florida or Arizona not being number 1 seeds, so really you're down to like 7 or so teams for one overall number 1 seed: Michigan, Wisconsin, Kansas, Duke, Virginia, Louisville, Syracuse.  In that order...obvious both Mich and Wisco won't both be in play on selection night, same for Duke/UVA/Cuse.

Ok guys, which one of you wants a number one seed?

It's all up to Duke right now.  Michigan may have trouble claiming that 4th #1 seed after they struggled to win against Illinois.

Wisconsin is silently hanging around.

This is very true.  They took care of Minnesota pretty nicely yesterday.

How many hours of college bball you watching this weekend?

I'm planning on checking out the Mountain West game between San Diego St and New Mexico, both favorite locales of mine.  Hope they don't choke in the tourney this year.

Probably the rest of the games on ESPN today.  I'm interested in the Big XII championship between ISU and Baylor.  It is actually refreshing not to see Kansas in the final.

Well, forget about Wisconsin.  Michigan State took care of the Badger's chances.  Right now, Joe Lunardi on ESPN has Michigan as the 4th 1 seed and have pushed 'Nova down to a 2 seed.

The seeds so far are ridiculous. Louisville a 4 seed? Wichita St a 1 against Kentucky in the second round? Oh boy.

Louisville's RPI is 19.  I could see giving them a 3, but there's way too much whining over their seed.

Overall, this bracket's pretty good.  No obvious snubs, although I expected SMU to make it.  Can't believe the A-10 got 6 teams in, especially after losing Butler to the Big East, but I can't really complain.

SMUs non conf SOS was in the 300s. That's mainly the fault of their AD but also the system. No tears for their exclusion though.

Well, the creeps on the selection committee didn't do The Shockers any big favors.

I'm cautiously optimistic about New Mexico's chances to not choke early this year.

Terrible job by the committee. Louisville being a #4 seed is ridiculous. North Carolina State being in at all is a joke; KenPom has NC State at 66 and Maryland at 43 and somehow NC State is in the tournament while Maryland didn't even get into the NIT. Tennessee being forced into a play-in game is also absurd, as is the fact that Wichita State as a #1 seed has a tougher path to the Final Four than they did as a #9 seed last year. This season of college basketball has just been totally devoid of redeeming aspects. I can't wait for next year.

RPI is garbage.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10630406/louisville-michigan-st-arizona-florida-obama-final-four

President Obama's bracket came is out...

His Final Four are Florida, Arizona, Michigan State and Louisville... With Michigan State defeating Louisville in the Finale.

President Obama's picks are like the Grim Reaper for that team. (In six years, he's the team he's chosen to win the national title has won only once) (North Carolina 2009)
