I have a headache so just click this no time to explain

That basically sums up anything involving Steve Stockman.

There's a Winter Storm Warning across the Houston area; power outages are being reported. Could affect some polling sites.

He had a really nasty (by southern standards) ice storm in Walker county this morning, and from the looks of it the whole Houston area as well. Hopefully this hurts the Corndog vote since his voters are less motivated.

Stockman has conceded the race, ending one of the weirdest campaigns in Texas political history.

Thank god; he was one of the worst candidates ever.

Stockman is out of the house too. Well, at least for 3 more years if he decides to come back.

Looks like Rogers might not make a run-off.

Rather sad that John Cornyn may not break 60% against a crowd of total schmucks.

He won't be back.

He's down to 59% now. Kind of makes you wonder what might've happened if he'd had a real challenger.

I'll bet Louie Gohmert is sitting at home wistfully wishing he had pulled the trigger and ran.

Didn't Cornyn only get like 55% in 2008? I remember how Hutchison would routinely over-perform him in his vote total.

To be fair to him, that was 2008.

He got 55% in 2002 too. And that was a very Republican-favored midterm.

With the primary over, Cruz endorses Cornyn.

I'm not a Cornyn fan but I really hope he gets to have the last laugh.

If Cruz gets primaried in 2018, Cornyn should be standing shoulder to shoulder on every dais in Texas with whoever is running against him.
