In general, no.  In theory, if a prisoner had essential intelligence we desired access to, maybe.  However, none of the people being held at Gitmo fall into that category any more.  Whatever intelligence value they possessed has long since gone stale.

you really have to look deeper, bb. The ones who have caused most of the mayhem are of course sitting pretty in our wealthier neighborhood, and the 'murderers' in prison are mostly just victims.
