I wish I could vote for a eurosceptic party here in Germany. Never missed an election in my life (am 29 now) but I may actually give this one a miss.

What about Alternative fur Deutschland? They're at least anti-Euro even if they're pro-EU.
They're not an established party. So far they're, basically, a fundraising event. Also I suppose he's looking for a vaguely centrist one. Tongue

How do you know - his overlooking of Die Linke might suggest he's after right-wing ones. Funny how I've already heard of that party, not sure where, but I've no doubt our reactionary media are keen to promote them.

Uh... red avatar, no rightwing pronouncements I remember, besides there's never been a shortage of right-of-the-CDU no-chance-of-mattering options on the ballot anyways. Tongue

I voted CU/SGP in 2004 & 2009. Don't know yet what to vote in 2014. I'm not that fond of the EFD group that SGP ended up in. So it will be either CU/SGP, CDA or VVD. Which means either ECR (or EFD), EPP or ALDE.

Although saying that red only signifies Democratic, which includes a number of right-wingers on here.

I've voted Conservative in the past two European elections back when it was part of the EPP. After the 2009 elections the Tories decamped to form the ECR which I don't subscribe to. My vote is likely to go to the Greens/EFA by voting for the SNP or the Scottish Greens.
Do the Scottish Greens have a chance of winning a seat?

Oh, and the Greens, no surprise there.
I like the EGP anyways

They were 34000 votes away (around 3%) last time. So, polling 10% instead of 7% would have gave them a seat.

Don't know if they'll be on the ballot. They seem to be a good choice though. I'm no right-wing populist and I want to keep the EU in place but the euro was just a godawful idea from the get-go.

Perfect party for me would be socially liberal (gay rights, drug legalization [even though I'm not taking any]) but at the same time fiscally conservative (small government, little to no deficit spending...i.e. the exact opposite of what appears to be happening within the eurozone right now). Maybe it's time I founded a Libertarian party.

So the only reason you can't support FDP is its pro-euro stance?

Well, in my mind the eurocrisis is one of the most pressing issues in Europe today so a party's stance on the matter is paramount to my decision.

So, Team Stronach might be a good fit for you. If you lived here and not in DEU.

I'd like to vote for the European Greens, but probably I'll go with the European Left because it's likely that the two green parties (Iniciativa per Catalunya Verts and Equo) will go in coalition with the United Left, which in that case will be the 'Plural' Left. Not a fan of the Spain's IU in its actual current configuration, but I don't want to vote PSOE.

I'll be voting for the Left Front again, so GUE-NGL. And since I moved from the very right-wing Greater-East interregional constituency to the more normal, and with more seats, Île-de-France constituency, I will actually have a shot at getting my vote count and have my candidate reelected.

I remember seeing Stronach on a German talk show once. To be honest some of his views were OKish but he seemed to be a bit of a one trick pony and his age showed. Something like a slightly more €-sceptic VVD might appeal to me.

Do you consider the VVD to be a right-wing populist party?

Not a populist party, but right-wing, sure.

I'm a EU citizen but I don't reside in a EU country so I won't be able to vote. If I did, I'd probably vote for some regionalist party (like the Parti breton) in France or, if pushed, EELV.

Not a populist party, but right-wing, sure.

Not sure what qualifies as right-wing today. The VVD is definitely to the right of classic center-right parties like the CDU I suppose but I would not push them to the edge of the political spectrum.
