Yes-Democrat.  Only when I drink though.  I used to smoke a pack a day.  What would be interesting is cigarette brand w/ party breakdown.  For me it's Marlboro Light Menthol.

One of my best friends also smokes mostly Marlboro Menthol (not Lights though.) He smokes two to three packs a day, recently attempted to quit for the first time in his life. Lasted about ten days, which was longer than I thought he would.

He smokes too much to just up and quit without some sort of help.

Tell him to do what my aunt did - smoke over five packs in one day, ie smoke non-stop. She got so sick she didn't want any more cigarettes. Wink

I've repeatedly sat up nights with him playing a strategy boardgame and that's exactly what he was doing...so I don't think that'll help. Smiley

I quit a few minutes after my father's heart stopped in 1985; he was a smoker and had been since 1940.

Watching him turn purple was a good incentive.

Which is supposed to be for five players actually, but we've altered the rules a bit. Smiley

A real man smokes his cigarettes WITHOUT the filter. Aka Pall Mall. Smiley But I actually prefer a pipe over any other kind of smoking tobacco. As I said before I am not a comitted smoker since I was introduced to smokeless tobacco.

No, thats a stupid man.

BTW, LIGHT MENTHOLS? And YOU'RE the straight ones?

Tongue

I smoke 6-8 cigarettes a day; either Peter Jackson Extra Mild (which is about 3 times stronger then a light marlboro) or Peter Stuyvesant Filters (also about that strong-1.2mg per cigarette)

I do not smoke cigrattes, never have never will. I probably will eventually try a cigar.
Cigars taste far worse than cigarettes, I can assure you.

Not so sure about that. If you inhale, yes, but they're not as bad as cigarettes. Sure, cheap cigars can be quite skanky, but cigarettes generally taste revolting. Though perhaps that's only the brainwashing process I put myself under when I quit smoking ("Cigarettes are disgusting! They are disgusting! They are..." Repeat ad infinitum).

No. Somehow that smooth, delicious taste isn't quite worth sounding like a drugged-out Mexican transvestite in 20 years.
