that's what you consider to be hip-hop?!  trust me, very few listened to 2LiveCrew when they came out, as you can tell by the reaction of the audience.

Correct, but there are so many good ones.  An under-rated genre.

I guess my personal favorite is KRS-one.. love Public Enemy's 'My 98' - great song plus I had the same car.  Biz Markie, Sir Mix-a-lot... so many fun ones.
