Proverbs 11:10 "When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy."

Because Proverbs was the story of Jesus and he came to Earth because the Old Testament didn't need any updates or fixing.

would it be unChristian for me to point out that fulfilling is not the same thing as updating or fixing

and, obviously, there is nothing in the NT which comes close to stating "When the righteous prosper, the city mourns; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of sorrow."

this is a legitimate question, for Obama attempted to make celebrating OBL's death a moral issue.

I wonder ... what non-Christian religions do you think are probably included in "the wicked"?

It's the corrupted churches and their tainted brand of "Christianity" that I would include there, including jmfcst's.

hand the ball to the referee like Walter Payton.

Twas a joke, but yours was good also.

Actually I used to occasionally attend the pro-fessional base-ball game, but only because dad's seats were so ridiculously good that it actually impressed even the kind of girls I dated.

I was hoping we could use this thread to reminisce about the evolution of end zone celebrations…but the Nazis have openly warned us that their antiChrist Führer has instructing them to place these WWJD threads on their Code Red Watch List….so I’m experiencing an unexpected level of no-shows and empty seats.   I tried to pass out pom poms to entice a larger crowd, but they were not on the Approved Items List (which apparently is on the flip side of the Watch List) and thus were quickly and rudely confiscated.

Seriously?  People are actually not posting here because of what the little hitlers said?  That seems odd.  I would think people would just post here until they censored it by deleting or locking the thread.  Are they really that cowed?

Inks is now one of them:

Jesus just called my cell phone and told me that he's sick of all these threads and that I am to vanquish any further ones.  Consider this yall's last warning.

The lack of interest is likely because many of our posters have the absurd idea that a football is supposed to be round.
