Not actually true as of 2010 census as there is now 82 people living there. Though it probably has more voters than VAP.

I "discovered" this county sometime in the mid 1960's, and voila, three months later, Life Magazine had a big spread about it! Yes, it should not be a county at all of course, but counties tend not to like to be merged. Smiley

Endless hellhole like the entire state. Determined to see Carlsbad Caverns, I had the misfortune of driving the entire length of Texas a few years back. The following gets old after the tenth hour or so:
