It was indeed a joke, although the fact it wasn't recognised as such is probably a commentary on my party's unfortunate reputation for Chicago-style machine politics. Tongue

And quite frankly I'm tired of the Junkie card. If the RPP gave a damn about Junkie, they wouldn't have had several supporters cross over to support inactive HappyWarrior. If they gave a damn about Junkie, he would've gotten elected at-large Senator over the "less active" Duke. If they RPP gave a damn about Junkie, the RPP President would've appointed him to the Supreme Court. And when the RPP finally does get the Mideast Senate seat back, it's for Officepark, probably the least active Senator we've had in years. Though that was probably bad luck for Junkie leaving before tmth pre-emptively resigned the seat. Instead Junkie just seems to be some sort of sacrificial lamb candidate the RPP uses to claim the moral high ground afterward, despite never giving him support when it counts.
