Option 2. He may have basically been white noise, but if everyone is talking with the TV on but no one is paying attention, it's still different if the TV is turned off.

I have no doubt the mods will be unanimously for option 4.

(though I wasn't the mod(s) tasked with fixing his junk so I may not be aware of some of his bigger flaws....or I may just not be remembering properly or something...all I know is that he never rubbed me the wrong way)

One of the few posters that I never felt any temptation to click  whenever I'd see one of his posts.  There was never any kind of reward for doing so.
