Obama has no health care plan. At this point he's merely trying to get the Senate and the House to agree on anything.

Huh

The bill was released today. You can read it here: http://www.rules.house.gov/bills_details.aspx?NewsID=4606

Yes ... the monstrosity that you posted in the link is the result of Obama desperately trying to come up with anything just so he could score a political 'win'.  I must admit I've never seen legislation passed with such finesse.

...Or most of them will go out of business.

Yes!  That's a very important step in ending the genocide.

I actually preferred Obama's plan for a time (or at least Obama's plan as it was presented circa 2007) but I have moved toward supporting single payer since then.

I haven't posted my own vote here in this thread, but I may as well (not that it should come as a shock): Single Payer > Status Quo > Obama/Romneycare. The latter is little more than a fraud, and all the barnstorming over the last few months hasn't convinced me otherwise.

Spade prefers single payer over the status quo? Lol.

If only conservatives actually believed this and weren't just saying it now that the corporate whore bill is about to pass. I would think they would be able to get behind something like the Bismarck model. But when it was time to shape policy they weren't anywhere to be found.

Single payer, of course, but I agree with Nate Silver that the kill-the-bill "progressives" are actually anything but in reality, regardless of their intentions.
