Presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. submitted a third request for Secret Service protection from the Biden administration on Wednesday after an intruder was arrested twice in one day trespassing on his Los Angeles property.

I don't think anybody gets Secret Service protection this early. Moreover they have to assess he might win, which I don't think anybody does except maybe him.

Ben Carson received secret service protection in the fall of 2015

The idea that you should get SS protection only if you have a chance to win would lead to absurd results. By that logic, a person like Mondale 1984 or Goldwater 1964 would not be eligible for SS protection

What’s the deal with the voice?

I don't think enough of his would-be supporters even know what he sounds like. They're probably imagining the voice of his father or uncle.

His voice is the least of his problems, but I'm going off the assumption that those considering voting for him are superficial themselves ("Biden is old!").
