I suppose the midturn will be about the netherlands and maybe Italy? I'm curious about how Benedetto is governing Piedmont, absolute monarch? Constitutional monarch etc etc.

Several players have questions that they will need before sending in orders. Due to this, as well as my late return, I've decided to extend the turn an additional 24 hours. I'm working on responding to PMs currently and should complete the process tonight.
I hope you have had good vacations Smiley

Hello Spamage,
Thank you for all your work, you have been amazing. Indeed real life must come first. I oppose someone else taking the game as I believe it is your game. In my view, the best would be to end it and to start a season 3 next year something like 20 years later. It's going to continue to be an amazing period:
-the passing of benedetto: succession crisis?
-Naples becoming the most capable candidate to unify Naples
-Scandinavia annexing basically Denmark with the Schleswig issue not solved
-Rising nationalism, uprising in Greece?
- Spain and the UK facing increased troubles in their colonies
-The passing of Kosciuszko: what to do next?

Etc etc

I think there is a big potential for a third season next year so it is preferable to close it like you did last game.

Maybe a final turn so we could all give what we were planning to do by PM in the next decade?

Funny how France was omitted from any potential troublesome developments Tongue
Well,
I mean I believe that France is probably in the strongest position in Europe, like the UK was at the same time.
What I can see in 20 years is the "liberals" rising in the election occuring 20 years later but it can hardly be considered as troublesome.

My apologies, I've gotten a bit busier sooner than expected and this fell by the wayside. I have most of a tentative news update written out, but it will be a little bit before I can finish it off.

Oh seriously it's alright take your time, IRL is more important.

Btw Spamage, if some people hasn't sent their orders, the best is to put their realm as automat and to still close the game.

A delay is justified for the very last turn, since there's much to cover, but, in principle, I agree with windjammer. Such games are supposed to simulate the real life mechanisms and if you don't react to the situation in time, you don't get an extension in RL politics.
^^^^^^
I understand that sometimes delays are necessary like right now but it's important for a game to work that there are deadlines etc.

I had been reading a lot recently about the post congress of Vienna, the 1815-1848 period and dear god I didn't believe that was a so interesting period.

I really hope there will be a season 3 next year because there will be so many potential problems that I will elaborate further when Spamage will close this game.
