Maybe.  Being such a liberal state it gives the Republican candidate the freedom to just be a democrat on everything except economic issues.  I could see that appealing to enough Montgomery County voters after the SALT deduction cap and the current economic climate.  I also don't see why there would be Republican fatigue when the Governor is doing a very good job and is pretty popular.
