I don't think it's appropriate to judge kids in this public way.  They're too young to know what they're talking about one way or the other on this kind of nuanced issue.  In a few years, they're going to cringe when they read this article.

That said, modesty is a weird, Victorian era concept.  It's basically has two purposes: 1. Make unattractive people feel better and 2. Force kids to wear appropriate clothing.  Sure, kids should wear appropriate clothing. But the idea that you should be modest about your appearance is delusional; you should take pride in looking your best.  Ultimately, people constantly judge you based on your physical appearance, regardless of whatever lies we tell each other.  Adults have to deal with that reality in life. Life rewards you for dressing appropriately for different social situations AND looking good.

Because girls who wear sexually explicit clothes aren't sluts (at least most of them aren't). They just happen to live in a society where they are told for all their life that their goal is to be objects of male pleasure.

Removing all social pressure in the domain of clothing, rather than creating another pressure that contradicts the first, is the solution. "Modestly clubs" and strip clubs are the two faces of the same patriarchal order, which wants women to be sluts and wants them to be ashamed about it.

How is it remotely possible to remove all social pressure for anything?  Sexual attraction and a love of beauty are innate in human beings.  It's ridiculous to deny that.  People also like clothing and like dressing up.  I really don't understand why that's such a bad thing.  Ultimately, women are objects for the pleasure of other people.  And men are too.  That's not automatically degrading.

Economic inequality my ass. Number of pre-marital sexual relationships is a far better indicator of divorce rates than economic inequality. And of course divorce of leads to single parenthood.

Correlation does not equal causation.

Also, it's not like the only possible social norms are either: no premarital sex, never get divorced, OR have lots of premarital sex and have tons of kids out of wedlock.

How about a social norm that says: use birth control and take responsibility if you choose to have children?  That might also work.
