Really a shame about Steve Bullock's third debate prospects. He deserves to be a heavyweight even if he isn't my preferred candidate. Where does he stand in donor numbers?

Also would think the debate deserves some Marianne and Inslee but I'm resigned to accepting that they won't be there.

The eliminations should just be the useless congressmen, the Colorado people and maaaybe the New York people (though probably Yang before them). 12 reasonable contenders plus O'Rourke and Yang would be more fair.
If he was serious about running, he should have done his research and played to win. If he actually wanted to win, well this show he didn't do his research and has a bad strategy, so then I'm glad he's not the nominee.

Warren, Bernie, and Mayor Pete relegated to the kiddy table?  WTF?

There's no kiddy table. Any debate with the 3 of them has 3 of the top 5.

Van Jones just said Buttigieg slipped on "the banana peel of racism." Dogwhistle.
Ugh.

I'm so happy Bernie called-out CNN. He should have mentioned them along with the other special interests.

Bullock was absolutely terrible, there with Ryan, and Hickenlooper, Kobuchar, Beto, and Delaney. Bullock gave the worst foreign policy answer of the night so far, after that honor went to Tim Ryan last time. Seemed like he was having a stroke or sneaking shots of whiskey in the second half, kind of like Bennet in June.

Warren and Sanders did the best. Buttigieg communicated well too. Williamson surprisingly had a few good moments.

Against Biden and Harris, I hope there's some M.A.D. at work tonight.

I liked Gillibrand & Tulsi's opening. Yang's definitely woke people up.

Bennet = Delaney

Good healthcare points by Yang

Harris keeps stuttering

Biden says Obamacare is working fine? LOL. Then Obamacare isn't working.

That was a team effort to take out Biden on the issue of deportations.

(Multiple candidates, like Castro, de Blasio, Booker) : Biden, did you disagree with all of Obama's deportations?
(Biden, on the third or fourth time, after many dodges) : It's a secret!

I also don't get why Biden and others don't get that it's not about what's illegal NOW, it's about what SHOULD be criminal. It's short-sighted to say the solution is to get rid of Trump. What if you win, but another Trump comes after you? CHANGE. THE. LAW.
