I am licensed to perform weddings.  The couple chose me rather than him.

I think I am just out of touch, Grumps. Weddings are only for the rich, which I am shamelessly a part of, apparently, so weddings for the poors are atypical. I was just shocked that they had not picked a venue days before their wedding, as I have a friend of mine getting married tomorrow night as well, and they had theirs planned for months (it's a greek wedding, so obviously).

He said the bride already had a child, so it's definitely a shotgun wedding, just a little slower. It sounds like most of the people Bushie knows have kids out of wedlock, which isn't surprising, I guess, despite how religious they are.

Not even necessarily despite. I'd imagine there's a strong connection between being deeply religious and not using contraceptives (or at least growing up in a deeply religious area where such things aren't talked about).

I also found out the groom's side of the family are Seminole-Creek Indian.  Which, according to the groom's father, is a close relative of the Potawatomi, which is my tribe.

This makes sense as if you look at a county map, Pottawatomie County is the county right next door to Seminole County on the west.  Pott county as it's also called, is right next to Oklahoma County on the SE side of OK County.

No, we aren't, because this isn't just some bullish*t story right now as usual. This isn't a "season" or an "episode" or a "story arc" or whatever. This is another living creature whose life you are affecting. This is more import then your lame attempts at weight loss or your fake children or your bumming around in Kenya or whatever the  you want us to "change the topic" to.

Please, for the love of whatever God you claim to believe in, if you're not willing to do anything to stop yourself from living a miserable life and dying an early death, at least don't put other creatures through the same.

I obviously trust the SPCA more than the guy who can't string two sentences together coherently. Leaving a puppy outside all day is abusive. Dogs are social animals, and they depend on close attention from and interaction with their family, particularly at an early age.

So, your opinion is since I don't bring the dog inside is that I should lose the dog and be thrown in jail for animal cruelty?

Bushie, you're not going to go to jail even if somebody actually did report you. The police don't have time to deal with that (they're too busy beating up black people and drug users). The most drastic thing that would happen is that you'd have the dog taken away from you.

There is no reason for the dog to be taken.  We are not mistreating him.  Everybody is just trying to frame me and blackmail me.  Opie is right, this is a pure witch hunt.

Helping build churches and loving on kids, I presume. That's what most of these white missionaries do when they go to Africa. We've worked so hard in that country that they are more christian than we are!

We don't give hand outs, we try to give these kids a hand up.  Hand outs only create beggars.  These kids have been beggars their whole lives.  We try to give them a hand up and show them how they can be self-sustaining through secular education, spiritual education, and the other things I mentioned above.
