This idiot should have been fired at least three years ago, but only Bush's misplaced loyalty kept him from doing it. Not that he didn't have some good ideas about how our military needs reform, but he failed to see that they were totally inapplicable for the situation we would face in Iraq. You can destroy eney armies much better with the type of lean and mean military he has promoted, but an occupation force needs boots on the ground that his plans failed to provide for. Worse, he seems to still not realize that it was his arrogance and mistakes that made the occupation longer, bloodier, and costlier than it should have been.
