"Milton Friedman" misread the poll about Portman

It states that 40% of Ohioans have not formed an opinion of approval or disapproval on Portman, not that they have no idea who he is. An approval rating is different than a name recognition test

PPP is not a push poll...push polls ask inflammatory questions about one candidate or another BEFORE or WITHIN the "who are you going to vote for question". PPP's messaging questions are asked near the end of the poll, after the horserace, favorability, and demographics info.
