Bartolucci announced today he will not seek re-election, but will complete his current term.  He has informed Wynne not to consider him for a Minister position.

Federally, if the NDP could get a star candidate in Toronto Centre, they'd have a chance to take it.  Someone like David Miller, Marilyn Churley, or Mike Layton.

Ahh... i'm sure Wynne will have a number of those conversations with some long time OLP MPPs

Well McGuinty, Duncan, Bartolucci and now Bentley are all out.  Gravelle is battleing lymphoma, can't see him in cabinet.  I cannot see a scenario where Broten is not demoted to backbencher.  This is really going to be a very new cabinet.

McGuinty will resign his Ottawa South seat tomorrow. Would Wynne pair it with the other 2 vacancies?

Ottawa South could be picked up by PC, especially without a McGuinty running.  I think the NDP will likely win Windsor, and the Libs will hold onto London.

Hoping a high caliber NDP candidate runs in TC.  Maybe David Miller, Marilyn Churley, or Mike Layton?  I can dream.

There is a fracas in the Scarborough-Guildwood NDP, with suggestions that the party may have installed Giambrone over the will of the local members, and the defeated local candidate Chhabra threatening legal action:

Sore loser.  Even if this were true, which I don't believe, have some respect for the party you wanted to represent and deal with this properly.  To me, Chhabra appears to care about nothing other than personal ambitions.  This is how I perceive it anyway.
